How Distance MTech for Working Professional Beneficial For Your Technical career

M.Tech is a postgraduate engineering master’s degree program. It is a technical professional degree in the engineering discipline. This degree is awarded in a specific branch of engineering specialization. It is a two-year course in India in which 1st year is completely devoted to course work and 2nd year for project work. It is offered both full-time and part-time. Nowadays,Guest Posting some universities or colleges are offering Executive M.Tech for working professionals, too, which requires 3 years to be completed. This course is designed to help the research and development sector, industry, and educational universities and colleges.

In India, a master’s degree is regulated either by the University Grants Commission (UGC ) of India or by the All India Council of Technical Education. It is designed to give students practical exposure to conceptual knowledge. It is offered to students to impart skills rather than knowledge. This course is offered by various universities, affiliated colleges, IITs, NITs, CFTIs, State Universities, etc.

This course is highly demandable in the research and development sector because of the specific specialization.

It also opens a window for a Ph.D. degree from top universities in the world and India. Due to the practical knowledge of the subject, they get opportunities in the research lab, too. Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:

The universities/colleges admit MTech students under the following categories:

i) Regular: Students work full-time for their MTech degrees. Students have to attend classes. The attendance of students is important and they have to maintain a minimum percentage of attendance to appear for the exam.

ii) Sponsored (Full-Time): Candidates are sponsored by the organization or academic institutions where they are working. The course fee is sponsored by the organization. The candidate’s vacation is approved and salary as well provided by the sponsoring organization. The sponsored candidates have to join academic institutions, a recognized R&D organization, governmental organization, or industry for doing M.Tech in the Institute on a full-time basis.

iii) Part-Time: Working professionals can join part-time MTech programs. They have to appear in exams on a time to time basis and have to earn minimum credit. They can complete the project work from the organization where they are working and can submit the same project to the Institution to earn the M.Tech degree.

iv) Project Staff: This is for those who are presently working on sponsored projects in an organization.
